Patchwork sand, the water makes,
below the tideline, glistening bright.
Glassy, sheer, and tempting eyes,
beneath the golden, glowing light.
Silver sands stretch long and far,
framing towns on journey's sweep.
Summer breezes whisper low,
hoping secrets all will keep.
Carpets green adorn the cliffs
that overlook the endless sea.
Copper-faced and towering strong,
all promising their strength to me.
Hypnotically, the waves roll in,
and horses run their secret race.
Riding out the ocean's path -
true and strong, with beauty's grace.
All the while, they carry on;
people playing, laid in arms,
ambling, laughing, running free,
oblivious to nature's charms.
Landsape bows and makes it known,
while vision wanders, solace drawn,
that while the eyes see all is there,
there's more beyond horizon's dawn.
Listen to the whispering wind,
and breathe the scent the ocean brings,
feel the life beyond your self,
then hear how loud your soul can sing.
No more the silent, screaming heart,
no sorrow deep or senses numb.
The ocean's tide will wash away -
all miseries to overcome.
So feel your heart, there, beat in time
with Mother Nature's graceful song.
Then let your voice find tune with Hers,
and open-armed, then sing along.
For while you have Her close at heart,
cherishing and holding true,
You'll always know down deep within,
She'll always be a part of you.
