Remember me through ages gone,
Think of times to smile upon.
Weep not for the memories old,
And listen for the stories told.
Remember days you made me smile,
And think upon our union child.
Read the words my hand did pen;
Read them through, then, read again.
Remember falls and cuts and scrapes,
The butterflies, the bellyaches.
Think back on the seasons' change,
How through it all our love remained.
Remember how you took my hand,
How you'd listen, understand.
Let your heart reach out for me,
Let it find, and let it see.
Remember not to let me die -
Within your heart and soul I lie.
I'm always there, locked deep within
Listen to the words I sing.
As long as you remember me,
And let your spirit guide you free,
You need not weep for memories old,
Just listen for the stories told.
