Due to unforeseen circumstances and lack of support, the latest competition has been temporarily withdrawn. New puzzles will continue to be added, and normal service throughout the remainder of FreakWrite will continue.

We have a winner!

Congratulations to Nikki Sly from Devon. Nikki is the winner of FreakWrite's first competition, and wins a copy of 'The Mystic Masseur' by V.S. Naipaul. If you're dying to know how well you did, the answers are on the 'Competition' page, where they'll stay until the next update.

  New poem, by K Wakeman - 'Knock Knock'

We now have a new puzzle on the'Competition' page. It's just for fun, so please don't send your answers in. The solutions will be posted in a week or two, and there'll be a new prize-winning competition at the beginning of June.

Don't forget, you still have time to enter the competition to win V.S. Naipaul's first novel, 'The Mystic Masseur'.

There are no new submissions with this update, but we have two new listings for you in 'Resources' - one to help with your writing, the other to help you get published.

The answers to the puzzle posted on the last update are now available on the'Competition' page. A new puzzle will be posted soon, but there's still time to enter the competition to win V.S. Naipaul's first novel, 'The Mystic Masseur'. Well, what are you waiting for?
